How to move emails into folders
- Log in to Gmail in your browser
- Open the message
- Click the Move To button (with an image of a folder) on the top menu bar
- Select the folder from the dropdown. Or click Create New.
Or, on Gmail mobile
- Open the Gmail App
- Open the email to move, or select it in your inbox
- Tap More (3 dots) in the top right, then Move To
- Choose the folder you'll move it into
You can also move emails straight from the inbox to a folder
